Admissions Process

General Guidelines

Admissions for a new academic session open in July.  Once admissions are declared closed, students may be accommodated strictly based on availability of a seat in particular class. Limited seats for specific classes may sometimes be available till June. At our Nursery Schools we try and welcome little ones till September subject to availability of seats.

We accept students right from Early Childhood to Class 12 of the CBSE Board and A-Levels in the Cambridge Board, UK.

Students are considered for admission in Class 10/ IGCSE and Class 12/ A-Levels based on a review and interaction with the respective schools.

Admissions Procedure

  1. Admissions Open Days and In-person Counselling
    There are Open Days once every month when parents can meet our team. It is important for us to understand your child’s strength and we will be delighted to engage with you.
    The Admissions Counselling team is also available by appointment, weekdays, between 2pm and 4pm. Call the following numbers:

  2. Register Interest
    Complete the online form to register your interest in seeking admission for your child at the finest schools in Udaipur – Seedling Nursery Schools, Seedling The World School or Seedling Modern Public School.
  3. Check Age Eligibility
    We follow the 5+3+3+4 system of the National Education Policy 2020.
    • EARLY CHILDHOOD (Up to Prep/ A2): Up to 6 years
    • JUNIOR (Class I to V): 6 – 11 years
    • MIDDLE (Class VI to VIII): 11 – 14 years
    • SECONDARY AND HIGHER SECONDARY: (Class IX to XII): 14 – 18 years

    Note: Age is calculated as on March 31 of the previous year

  4. Complete Admission Form
    The admission application form is to be completed in person at the school. The registration form and school prospectus are available at a registration fee Rs 1500/-.
    Please complete the application form accurately and ensure that you carry the following documents with you:
    • Birth certificate
    • Two Passport size photographs of the student
    • Previous school records (mark sheets, transfer certificate etc.), if relevant.
    • Parents’ Identity proof i.e. Aadhaar card, passport,e tc.
    • Proof of residence

    The school reserves the right to request other documents as may be necessary.Once you have completed the Admissions form, please collect the acknowledgment slip.

  5. Appear for Test and In-person Interaction
    Students appear for an entrance test or interview, depending on the class. We do not require students to undertake special preparation. Students are expected to show understanding and familiarity with their earlier class curriculum. Admission to Nursery and Primary Schools does not require any test or interview. However, we do invite parents and students to meet us with the child for us to get to know you and your child.
  6. Await Application & Document Review Feedback
    We will review and verify the application and documents.
    Please plan for 3-5 days for us to get back to you on the final status of the application. Our teachers review each application in detail. The school reserves the right to offer or decline admission at its discretion and registration or application process do not guarantee admission.
  7. Complete Acceptance and Enrolment
    If your child has received admission, please complete the admission formalities within seven days. Do confirm acceptance immediately to the Admissions team and pay the admission fees, tuition fees, and charges as mentioned on the admissions documents
  8. Join us on Welcome & Orientation Day 
    As a valued member of Seedling Schools community, attend orientation at the school to familiarize yourself with the school and our team.
